Ron W Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Hello, Let me begin with I am experienced with this system and this is the 3rd one I am working with. I did not install this particular system though. I am able to update firmware successfully however, when I run the Terminal and connect I only get the Firmware version. This repeats over and over. It does not parse any data. I have tried different firmware, and different computers, no success. The Terminal also does not respond to commands such as stop and diag. I have verified putty configuration several times and it is correct. Switching ign on/off does stop and restart the data stream but still just firmware version on repeat. Suggestions? Quote
Jonny Retrofit Posted July 23 Posted July 23 It sounds like something is repeatedly resetting the ECU, the most likely thing being power tripping. Try powering the ECU yellow/black wire from a separate supply. If that works then it's the car supply. Quote
